What I love about Cary's work is that none of her kitchens look alike -they're all unique to the clients taste and needs and an expression of them, not the designer. What Cary does is provide efficient, creative design that always utilizes the space in the most practical way. She allowed me to feel as if I had designed the kitchen and made sure I didn't make choices I would regret. She does outstanding work and now I've got Cary helping me with my bathroom as well!!

It seems almost impossible to get through any home renovation, particularly the major ones, without some kind of regret. In the end, there always seems to be something you’d  do differently if you could do it again.

Our new kitchen marks the first time we can actually say that we wouldn’t change a thing. It truly came out better than we ever imagined. And a lot of the credit has to go to Cary.

In a very smart, understated way, Cary helped us to make the new space more than we ever imagined. Not because she told us what to do, but because she seemed to get a sense of what we were after and then helped guide us to get there. Aside from having great taste and enough experience to know what works and what doesn’t, Cary is a great listener. We really appreciated that about her.

She helped us to anticipate things we never would have thought of. She helped us to avoid mistakes. But more than anything, she helped us to create a space that has totally changed the way we live in the house that we’ve been in for seventeen years now. It seems a little ridiculous to go on and on about a kitchen. But the way it turned out, it’s actually more than a kitchen.  It’s our favorite place to be-  the perfect room to bring everyone together. And it’s made us love our house more than we ever did before.

A final note- One of the bolder things in the kitchen was huge butcher block cutting board. It’s a very bold, central piece. When we saw it in place, we had second thoughts. We asked Cary if we could trade it out for something a little less bold and central. She said, “I’ll do whatever you want. But I recommend you keep it for six months and if you don’t like it then, I’ll take care of it.  But live with it first.”

We did.

Both practically and aesthetically speaking, it’s grown into one of our favorite features.
